CONCRETE by Ché Tligui - Set design

For this new play, canvas panels are hand-painted to resemble concrete, with exposed steel reinforcements. The design is inspired by the faded, new town optimism of Skelmersdale, Lancashire where the play is set, and Italian artist Giussepe Uncini, whose concrete and steel works of the 50s and 60s played with light and shadows.
